Art House Foundation is an artist-led commissioning charity with a focus on object. Established in London Bridge in 2008, since 2011 we run a gallery and studios across two warehouse buildings on Regents Canal in Hackney.
We support artists at all stages of their careers to investigate an idea, with an emphasis on risk taking. This can take the form of newly commissioned work or the development and re-presentation of existing work. The way the results are made public is informed by the close dialogue of production and we are always interested in challenging ourselves to present work on and off site in new ways.
Our 2000 sq ft gallery space has allowed us to expand our interest in sculptural practice further and push forward projects with museum scale ambition.

Our studios support a community of professional visual artists with established practices in the art world most of whom have been here for a long time.
Our studios range from 500 – 2000 sq ft and we do our best to keep them single occupancy to cater for practices which require larger spaces in London.
Current studio holders include Owen Bullett, AK Dolven, Ana Genoves, Helen Marten, Damien Meade, Phillip Lai and Magali Reus
If you would like to be kept updated on availability send an email with your name, some basic info about your practice and approx size you are looking for to firstname.lastname@example.org
